Family Portraits

A impact of a great family portrait is amazing.  Every morning when I walk down my stairs, I smile… because I get a glimpse of my favorite family portraits.  I even read somewhere that viewing photos of happy times can be a deterant to depression.    My father passed away when I was a teenager, and I do not know of one “family photo” of just the 5 of us in our family.  Each year, my family endulges me with the annual family portrait (my children will not have the same problem when I am gone.)    I remember seeing a photo of my extended family from when I was a toddler… but as far as a picture of me and my dad… I have one cherished image of my father and I together…
